Seems Microsoft is "back". After Mr. Ballmer's years of arrogance-fiasco, seems -- somehow -- Microsoft is now "back" with a new style and attitude that -- if implemented tactfully -- could bring back the "'humble' powerful yet competitive" Microsoft it once was.
On May 21, Microsoft was announcing that Office 2007 SP2 will natively support ODF. Today, at the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008 Bill Gates announce that Microsoft will be seriously moving itself towards cloud computing.
This is really big big stuff!
A new era has come, and -- through Bill Gates final appearance at Tech Ed 2008 this year -- Microsoft seems to start showing "early" sign that the long stupid era of Ballmeric arrogant behaviour is finally "migth be" over.
Yet -- with all these pretty important milestone in Microsoft's "changing attitude" -- unfortunately Bill Gates is also at the same time bid farewell to the many audiences.
If the leadership realm that would make possible for these visions to come true will still be fall in the hand of Mr. Ballmer, I guess we will again have to put our finger crossed, and wait and see how the future at Microsoft really goes.

This is more information on how Microsoft plan to support ODF in its Office 2007 SP2 release.
