Citius, Altius, Fortius.
In the spirit of the Olympics, Singapore Airline will fly its Airbus A380 on one of its three daily flights between Singapore and Beijing in the first week of August.
The flight is intended to meet the higher demand during the 2008 Summer Olympics Games in the Chinese capital. The A380 will operate daily on SQ802 and SQ805 from Saturday, 2 August to Friday, 8 August. The flight will revert to the normal scheduled 777 aircraft after.
- Singapore Airlines is the first in the world to receive and operate (hence: the "earliest" to receive) the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the A380. I guess this is the CITIUS spirit of it.
- Definitely it will be flying in high altitude. Hence ALTIUS ? :-)
- And definitely it is the world's largest passenger aircraft in the world. FORTIUS ?? :-) :-) :-)
Fascinating to see how in modern era, citius, altius, fortius could have different meaning. :-)
Happy Olympic games! :-P
I am compiling opinion from 'remarkable' people i know, on how to boost our economy. Which way to go? china way? or india way?
pls contribute
