... would then we see a once great and exciting company named Microsoft 'gone' from existence?? -- or at least lost half of its market value?? -- or even more ??
I'm totally intrigued by this question that just suddenly pop-op out of my mindjust now. And still couldn't figure out, what would be the consequences for Microsoft if such happen?- Would Microsoft then be just an 'MS-Office' company? (Which is still huge in value, by the way).
- What would Microsoft be without its dominating MS-Windows operating system on people's machine?
- A few months ago, Microsoft has just record first ever decline in its business & sales performance -- among the first occurence that never happen before during the Bill Gates era nor in the long great Microsoft history!
- If consumer today dedicate themselves to Microsoft product, then they would end-up with a bunch of lame, lauzy, immitating, sometimes 'annoying', "second-class" product, such as:
- Using the clunky & complicated Windows Mobile phone instead of the marketleading Blackberry -- nor iPhone -- as their smartphone.
- Using the more boring looking Zune as their MP3 and media player -- instead of the exciting (and market leading) iPod.
